My favorites are:
David Moufang: Solitaire - perfect mix of ambient & idm.
Fanger & Siebert - kinda dark/electroish, autechre incluences
both are essential imho. Check www.2350.org for more detailed reviews.
Also get the two Instinct compilations. They are cheap and should be easy
to find.
